North Las Vegas Municipal Court Divorce Records

The clerk of the court for the Eighth Judicial District Court maintains records of divorces. A divorce record proves the end of a marriage. Adjudicated by the Eighth District Court, a divorce is treated as a family matter, which means it is handled under the provisions of NRS Chapters 121 and 125. The North Las Vegas Municipal Court holds no jurisdiction over divorce cases.

Pursuant to statutory provisions, family records, including divorce records, are matters of public record. A North Las Vegas divorce record may be inspected or retrieved from the district court clerk's office. However, not all divorce case records, or portions of them, may be releasable to the public.
